Guests on the South Congress Tour will be able to sample a diversity of food in the South Congress and S. 1st Street area. The epicenter of eclectic Austin is filled with some of the best 'off-the-beaten-path' eateries. Led by a guide with insider knowledge of the area, guests can expect to learn about the South Congress and it's happenings and the local culinary scene.  The South Congress tour typically includes the chef inspired "Tomago Yoko", Austin's best shrimp & grits, the #2 ranked food truck in Austin, juicy burgers,  seasonal specials, a few libation samplings and much more!

Tour is approximately 3 hours in length and we will travel the course of 1 mile; but distance will fly when you're tasting Austin!

Cancellation Policy

If a cancellation occurs within 24 hours of a tour, a $25 charge per guest will be assessed. No charge will be assessed for any cancellations in advance of 24 hours.

Weather Policy
We will hold a tour unless there is a severe weather warning. In case of severe weather, we will give a full refund to all tour participants. Severe weather includes heavy rainfall and/or thunderstorms. We will contact all guests by noon the day before the tour if we have to cancel due to severe weather.

Pickup/Departure

The tour begins at the corner of South Congress & James Street. The address of the corner is 1300 South Congress Ave. Austin, TX 78704.
Your guide will be at the corner where Jo's coffee resides.

Drop-Off

The tour will end just about a few blocks from your original starting point.
